Happy Holidays Everyone
We have had an exciting time over the past few weeks in the Mindfulness Centre with Harmony Week, Neurodiversity Week, and the Royal Children's Wellby donations. It has been lovely to see the students coming together for a common cause and thinking of others.
Many of our students are certainly showing signs of being very tired and ready for the holiday break to recharge their energy levels. A school day is very intense for our children, who are constantly learning, navigating social situations, following routines, problem-solving, and regulating emotions, so it is no wonder they are tired. Holidays are meant to be opportunities we look forward to; however, at times, these can be challenging for both adults and children to navigate. The Department has provided some useful resources to help with mental health support over the holidays. Please click on the link to view these.
Wellbeing Support for the holidays
A huge thank you for all the support for our Wellby's. There has been a huge buzz around the school this week as treasured turtles were purchased. Crowds gathered at the Wellbeing Stall, keeping our Wellbeing Leaders very busy.
Thank you to our Wellbeing Leaders for organising such a fun Harmony Lunchtime for our students.
