Pre-Primary - Constable Care Safety School Excursion

On Monday 14th October the Pre-Primary students set off for their very first excursion to Constable Care.

We were all so excited about going on the bus and learning all about how we can be safe when riding our bikes and crossing the road. When we got to our excursion, we were greeted by Jess who was there to tell us lots of important safety facts and information. We learnt about the different road signs, crosswalks and the importance of being safe near the road and train tracks.

Once we listened to the presentation the real fun started! The children were able to ride bikes around the pretend town with working traffic lights, train crossing’s and round abouts.

It was an amazing day, here are some comments from the pre-primary students:

Lucy: I liked going on the big school bus and riding the bikes.

Kristina: My favourite part was riding the bikes and my mummy helping.

Epiphanius: My favourite thing on excursion was riding the bikes and crossing the roads. Orlando: The bikes.

Valerie: The bus on the way there.

Lauren: I liked going on the bus.

Leah: I liked when I was riding on the bikes.
