Regional Athletics

Our superstar athletes did an amazing job in Bendigo today. It was fantastic to see them all compete so hard and do their best. The way they supported each other throughout the day was wonderful. Highlights for the day were a brilliant run by Orly to finish 2nd and qualified for States, Riley finished 4th in Shot Put and Ariah finished 2nd in her heat for the 100m.

Whole School Athletics

Today we participated in our whole school athletics carnival. Students were able to dress in their house colours and earn points. Thank you to all the teachers for running the day with an amazing amout of help from Rochester Secondary College students. We were also supported by the Rochester Little Aths Club who set up for us and allowed us to use their equipment. The day wouldn't have happened without all the behind the scenes work from Miranda and Mr Rasmussen, THANK YOU!

Finally to announce the winner... It was so close all day, before the relays there was 2 points between the teams. a very dominant performance in the relays by Gemini saw them the eventual winner of the day! House Captains Wil and Ava collected the trophy.

AFL Victoria in Rochy!

On Monday, Zaya from AFL Vic ran a kick to kick on the oval a lunchtime followed by some structured activities for our 1/2 students. This was in the lead up to the after school program they are offering starting Monday 21st Oct. see flyer below for more information.
