Wedding News
On behalf of the school community I would like to congratulate Mr Ross (Nic) and Bridget on their wedding during the school holidays.
NO Assembly on Monday 21st due to Parent Teacher interviews.
Parent Teacher Interviews - Bookings open
Our second Parent teacher interviews will be held on-
Monday 21st October (2:30 - 5:30pm)
Tuesday 22nd October.(3:30 - 4:40pm)
Booking are now open on XUNO but close on Friday afternoon. Click on the 'School' tab then 'Parent Teacher Interviews'. If you have trouble booking please contact your child's teacher or the office as soon as possible.
Regional Athletics
Congratulations to our 8 athletes who competed in Bendigo on Monday, you should all be very proud of making it to this level, it is a huge achievement. A special mention to Orly who has now progressed through to the State Championships. Fantastic result!
Class Captains
Each class has nominated two class captains for term 4. Captains have the responsibility of running class meetings and reporting to me 3 to 4 times per term to share any thoughts and ideas students have for improving our school.

100% Attendance reward
Last Friday 42 students came out for an icy pole, a freddo and an early play at lunch for having above 95% attendance for term Three. Nine of these students also received hot chips for being at school every day! This is an amazing effort considering there was so much illness around.
Pupil free days - Term 4
Each year schools are granted pupil free days and a Professional Practice Day by the Department. These dates may change each year depending on the needs of the school and must be approved by School Council. We have two pupil free days this term- Monday 4th and Monday 25th of November.
Classes 2025- Student Placements Staff will soon begin the conversations and work around class groupings for 2025. If your child will not be attending Rochester PS next year or you know of somebody who is yet to enrol could you please contact the office ASAP. If you have any specific requests regarding the placement of your child for 2025 please make contact to discuss before Friday 25th October.
Monster Raffle: Please collect from office.
Raffle tickets are now available for our 'Rochester Primary School Monster Raffle'. Check out the great prizes up for grabs! Families are asked to collect a book to sell. These will be available for pick up from the office next week. All funds raised will go towards supporting students, programs and activities at our school.
