ENPS Captains' Reflection
As the end of schooling for 2024 draws closer, we're asking our House Captains to reflect back over the year, and their time at ENPS. In this issue, we hear from Lisa, Ethan and Elle!
Lisa – Biik House Captain
Do you have any highlights from 2024 so far?
The house events and leadership excursion.
What's been the best thing about being House Captain?
Being a role-model to the school and leading house events.
Did you learn any new skills being a captain?
I learnt new skills like how to lead house events, sports shed, etc.
What has been your biggest challenge so far in 2024? How have you handled it?
When there is a person that is being rude in sports shed, I try and calm them down if not I ask them to leave or they get banned for one week.
What are you most looking forward to?
Seeing any other changes made via the House Captains or School Captains.
Which fitness activities got you through this year?
Playing games during class time like Gaga, crossover, Great Wall of China, power ball, jeti etc.
Did you enjoy any books this year?
I enjoyed Boy Overboard a lot.
Did you binge any TV shows this year?
I didn’t really binge it but I continued watching Young Sheldon.
How are you feeling about graduating from primary school?
I feel quite sad because I’m leaving some of my friends, teachers, my primary school and more but I think Buckley will be alright.
Can you sum up 2024 in 5 words?
Graduation, fun, memorable, friends, sad.
Do you have a favourite memory from your time at ENPS?
Hanging out with my friends, being in the band with my siblings in 2020 and Year Six camp (I couldn’t pick one).
What are your personal goals for 2025?
Make new friends at Buckley.
What will you miss most about ENPS?
Teachers, classrooms, friends, oval, playgrounds, Gaga and classmates.
Do you have any advice for our 2025 Foundation students?
Don’t be scared because ENPS is so fun, memorable and in my perspective I think it’s the best primary school out there.
Ethan – Biik House Captain
Do you have any highlights from 2024 so far?
Camp, being House Captain, Exhibition, and Gala Day.
What's been the best thing about being House Captain?
Representing my house colour as House Captain.
Did you learn any new skills being a captain?
It helped me become a better leader.
What has been your biggest challenge so far in 2024? How have you handled it?
Preparing for Exhibition. I handed it by organising what I have to do.
What are you most looking forward to?
Starting my new school.
How have you looked after your wellbeing this year?
By playing tennis and riding by bike.
Which fitness activities got you through this year?
My tennis tournament, and the beep test.
Did you enjoy any books this year?
Yes, Boy Overboard.
Did you start a new hobby this year?
Soccer.
How are you feeling about graduating from primary school?
Very excited.
Who makes you laugh at ENPS? Why?
Ansh because he is very funny.
Can you sum up 2024 in 5 words?
Fun, exciting, nervous, athletic, and tennis.
What are your personal goals for 2025?
Start my new school in a good way.
Do you have a favourite memory from your time at ENPS?
Year Six Camp.
What will you miss most about ENPS?
The people.

To enjoy your years at primary school and get the most out of it.
Elle - Wiin House Captain
Do you have any highlights from 2024 so far?
School camp and all the carnivals like athletics, cross country and swimming.
What's been the best thing about being House Captain?
Speaking at assemblies and hosting some events.
Did you learn any new skills being a captain?
Be a better leader.
Which fitness activities got you through this year?
Playing sports like footy and basketball.
Did you enjoy any books this year?
Boy Overboard, we read it with my class.
How are you feeling about graduating from primary school?
Sad, I’m going to miss my friends.
Can you sum up 2024 in 5 words?
Chaotic, funny, fun, exciting, crazy.
Who makes you laugh at ENPS?
All my friends.
What are your personal goals for 2025?
Get really good at dancing for my calisthenics/dancing.
Do you have a favourite memory from your time at ENPS?
Being with my friends. They make me happy.
What will you miss most about ENPS?
My friends and having fun in the classrooms.
