MPHPS 'Rocky Heights' LNSC Music Festival Performance

Thursday the 17th of October was a big day/night for our Mill Park Heights ‘Rocky Heights’ Rock Band. Our band performed at the Lalor North Secondary College Music Festival which this year was held over two nights. We were invited to perform on the Thursday night and our group of students (& teachers) did not disappoint. ‘Rocky Heights’ rocked the stage with a version of Bob Seger’s ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’. Our band looked amazing in their new uniforms and played and sang at a very high standard which ended with rapturous applause. 

Our band this year consists of:

Anushkaa - Vocals

Lavinia - Vocals

Gabriella – Vocals

Jachin – Saxophone 

George – Bass Guitar

Bonnie – Electric Ukulele 

Kate – Keyboards 

Eric – Keyboards 

We have also been blessed this year to have other staff involved:

Miss Nicolaou - Drums

Mr Keeling - Guitar

Mr Wright – Multi Instrumentalist 

A huge thank you to all our students for their dedication through the year so far and for their incredible performance at the Music Festival. Also thank you to Miss Nicolaou, Mr Keeling and Mr Wright for helping and playing at our rehearsals. Thank you to our ‘Groupies’ Mrs Hurrey, Mrs Stojkovski and Miss Wilson. Lastly thanks to Mrs Beare, Mrs Lloyd and Mrs Stimpson and the whole staff at MPHPS for their continued support.

‘Rocky Heights’ are now looking forward to their final performance this year when we entertain at our final assembly.
