Facilities Update

Our hands on program team spent the end of last term preparing our oval for the footy day. The oval now has both sets of goal posts up and both soccer goals up. This has allowed our students to play full matches. It's wonderful to see our Year 9's using the space positively creating their own teams to have lunch time events. 

After the exam period we will be renovating the space next to the new building to create an extra seating place for students at recess and lunchtime.

Community Connection

This term all of the Year 9's will be heading off to either Kerrabee House or Chirnside Views. So far, I've had the pleasure of taking 9A and 9B to Chirnside views where they spent around 1.5hrs with the residents. Students were playing games, puzzles, craft and even just visiting for a chat. The feedback from the residents and students has been really positive. 

Key Dates - Term 4

November 4: Combined classes will be running. This day has historically had poor attendance due to the cup weekend. Please note the canteen will be closed on this day.

November 5: Melbourne Cup Day (no school)

November 22: Professional Practice Day (student free day)

December 9 and December 11: Year 9 Exam Days (more information coming)

December 10: 2025 Year 7 Transition Day (Year 9 Home Study Day)

December 12: Celebration Day at Funfields

December 17: Presentation Night
