LIBRARY CLUBS…
Lunchtime clubs in the library have started back for this term. Here’s what’s happening and when:
Lego Club: every Tuesday lunchtime in the library. Each week there is a build challenge to get you started, or you can do your own thing. It is up to you. We have a number of Lego books that will give you inspiration when you find the creative muse is lacking. Each week all finished projects go into our Lego display case. See you in the library on Tuesday’s, we cannot wait to see your next build.
Craft Club: every Wednesday lunchtime in the library. Supervised by Mrs Walmsey, members are currently making decorations to add to a library Christmas window display. Feel free to come along, make friends and learn some new skills with a project or two you can take home at the end of the year.
Chess Club: every Thursday lunchtime in the Library. Supervised by Mr Boyce this club is for anyone who wants a game of chess. If you are a beginner there may also be some students who can show you the ropes. Again, a great place to make friends and learn a new skill.
