Principal Report
Mrs Deborah Crane
It is with great sadness that we do say farewell to some staff at the end of this year for many different and yet exciting reasons.
James Gagliardi will still be on 12 months leave in 2025. Mr G is a very valued staff member and has made huge contributions to PVNPS over many years.
Sarah Cotton is going on some personal leave for 12 months. Mrs Cotton is a most experienced staff member and has been pivotal in our school. An exciting adventure awaits for Mrs Cotton!
Natasha McKenna is a dedicated teacher and the students adore her. Ms Mckenna and her Hubby Boz are expecting their first child, and we wish them all the very best. Ms McKenna will be on parental leave for 2025.
Samantha Micallef was employed here as a graduate in 2020, and Ms Micallef has made many contributions to PVNPS. Ms Micallef leaves us as she has successfully gained a Learning Specialist position at a school in Craigieburn. Her new school is lucky to get such a hardworking and dedicated teacher.
Debbie Buffinton is leaving us for greener pastures called retirement. Mrs B has been an incredible Art Teacher for the past two years and has also volunteered to oversee the 'The Singing Club'.
Maria Rizzo is an Education Support Staff member and has been employed here at PVNPS for many years. Maria will be taking Long Service Leave for the entire year of 2025.
For all our staff leaving we wish you the very best!
When we say goodbye to staff we also say HELLO to new staff.
Congratulations to Stella Baker-Campbell who will continue in a teaching position for 2025.
We are very excited to inform you that we have appointed these new teaching staff to our school:
We have advertised for a speech Pathologist to work at PVNPS for one day per week in 2025. We have been able to do this with the monies for Tier 2 disabilities and we hope this further helps support our students and our intervention programs.
Hopefully, I can announce the successful applicant in the next newsletter.
At Pascoe Vale North Primary School we believe in providing a rich tange of subjects for stduents to experience. Thsi will enable them to have an undertsanding of these for when they head into secondary school.
