OSHC News

Dear Families,

We hope you’ve all had a great start to the school year! We are excited to see what this term has in store and look forward to the upcoming April Vacation Care.

Weekly Program:

We will now be uploading our weekly program to the school newsletter. Keep an eye out to see what fun activities your children will be involved in next!

Incident Reports:

Incident Reports have gone digital. You will receive an email notification from FullyBooked if your child is involved in an incident at OSHC. You will need to acknowledge the report, after which it will be closed. Any head, face, or spine injuries will still receive a courtesy call home, along with any major incidents.

Sun Protection:

As per our sun safety policy, hats and sunscreen must be worn when the UV index is 3 and above. Please ensure your child has a hat and any specialty sunscreen they may require. We provide a generic sunscreen for all children.

Pupil Free Day:

There will be a Pupil Free Day on the 9th of April. We will be open from 7am to 6pm for anyone needing care. Pupil Free Days are charged at the Bronze Fee of $65, subject to any CCS. Please book this day via the Vacation Care booking options.

April Vacation Care:

Bookings are now open for the April Vacation Care period. Bookings have moved to FullyBooked and can now be managed by families, just like your Before or After School Care through the calendar. If we have an excursion, you’ll need to tick to confirm the Excursion Authorisation upon finalising the booking.

Excursion bookings will close at 6:00pm on Wednesday, 26th March (Week 10). All other bookings will remain open for family management.

We will be closed for the public holidays on the 18th, 21st, and 25th of April 2025. By making a booking, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined in the following link: Terms and Conditions. Please review the link carefully before proceeding with your booking.

For these holidays, we have a split-age excursion. Foundation to Year 3 will be attending the Adelaide Zoo, while Year 4 to  will be going to Woodhouse Adventure Park. Please ensure you select the appropriate option for your child/ren when making your booking.

For the movie excursion, there is an option for a snack deal which includes popcorn and either Apple Juice or Sunkist. If you would like your child to have a snack deal, please make your selection when confirming your booking. If you don’t wish for your child to have a snack deal, no further action is needed.

We look forward to continuing to care for you child/ren throughout 2025.

Please reach out to the Director Skyla (skyla.charman@gspv.sa.edu.au) or Assistant Director Alysha (Alysha.gliddon@gspv.sa.edu.au) should you have any questions.

Warm wishes,

Skyla
