Garden Club
Mr Jorgen Choong
The Garden Club has been busy preparing the two garden beds in the playground. The Sweet Potato will be rotated to the second garden bed and in its place, we plan to plant all kinds of onions. The reason behind this idea is to prevent the growth of diseases by constantly growing the same crop in the same area.
After many years of experimenting in this space, the “Hidden Herb Garden” will be growing a variety of herbs. Currently we are growing chillies, spring onions, flat parsley and mint. The current growth of Geraniums will be transferred out to make more room for Thai Basil, Pig Face and more tomatoes.
The worm farms are struggling to get enough compost, if you happen to see a small white bucket, please place your fruit and veggie scraps in it. Currently, I have drafted the Parish Office and devotees to supplement their compost. The worms have been eating lots of cardboard and paper but it’s not their favourite food to munch on.
If you would like to join the Garden Club, it is on Tuesday and Thursday morning when the school opens. If you are not able to attend but would like to help, ask me, Mr Choong. And there are still plenty of mystery seeds, I have decided to not reveal the kind of seed.

Plant the seed and find out what plant could it be?
