What a joy it is to be in Week 4!

A heartfelt thank you to the families who attended our working bee—the garden is looking well-loved. It’s a beautiful gift for children to witness adults engaging in meaningful work, caring for our environment.

The children are settling beautifully into their daily rhythm as it begins to live within their bodies. Around this time in the term, the “honeymoon phase” can start to wear off, and morning separations may become a little trickier. If this is the case for you and your child, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to support you both.

In Cassia, we embrace barefoot play as part of our daily rhythm. Walking and playing without shoes helps develop balance, coordination, and posture while strengthening the feet, ankles, and legs. Research also shows that it enhances sensory awareness, agility, and overall well-being. The children have been thoroughly enjoying barefoot play in the sandpit and Muddy Piggy, delighting in the sensations of wet sand and mud.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Wishing you a wonderful week!

With love,

Rose, Sophie, Letetia, and Maz
