Welcome to a brand new school year. This year is set to be a very exciting year for our school community and for our church. The Catholic Church has declared this year, 2025, a Holy Year of Jubilee. The first Holy Year was instituted by Pope Boniface VII in 1300 and now, every 25 years, the Church celebrates a Jubilee year of grace, where the Holy Door is opened in the Vatican, and the faithful are invited to deepen their faith through prayer and making a pilgrimage to a sacred place. Pope Francis has chosen the theme “Pilgrims of Hope”  for this year’s Jubilee.

Our students will be learning about the holy year of Jubilee and will engage with various prayerful experiences to allow them to renew and deepen their relationship with God.

We encourage families to pray together using this beautiful Jubilee Prayer, written by Pope Francis, as we journey in faith during this time of renewal.
