Prep | BlueGum

The first week of full-time school for our Prep Bluegum students has been an exciting experience! This week, our focus has been on practising our routines and helping each other settle into the structure of their new school day. We have been working hard to remember and practise these routines, so that we become independent and confident Prep students. 

In Mathematics, we have started learning about patterns. Through hands-on activities like sorting counters and creating patterns, we have begun to recognise repeating patterns and develop our math skills. We have also loved searching for patterns that we see everyday like pedestrian crossings here at school, and even stripy socks!
