Advent, Christmas and Gratitude

As we enter the beautiful season of Advent, we are reminded of the significance of this time in our Catholic faith. It is a period of joyful anticipation and preparation for the celebration of the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a time for reflection, prayer and community as we prepare our hearts and homes for the coming of Christ.

Each week of Advent has its own theme: Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. As we light our Advent candles, let us reflect on these themes and how they can inspire us in our daily lives.

  • Hope reminds us that God is always with us, guiding us through challenges.
  • Peace encourages us to seek harmony in our families and communities.
  • Joy invites us to celebrate the blessings in our lives and share that joy with others.
  • Love calls us to act selflessly, following the example set by Jesus.

As we prepare for Christmas, I extend my heartfelt wishes for each of you and your loved ones. May your homes be filled with love, laughter, and joy during this festive season. I wish you all a Merry Christmas filled with peace and happiness. Please take time to  remember those who may be struggling during this time; a small act of kindness can make a significant difference in someone’s life.

Finally, as I reflect on the past year, I would like to express my gratitude for your support and participation throughout 2024. Your involvement in school liturgies, masses and prayers, commitment to your children's education, and dedication to our community have made a profound impact. Thank you for being an integral part of our school community.

Wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas filled with the love, peace, joy and hope of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

God Bless
