Literary achievements

This year, our students participated in the Annual Short Story Competition, which includes both fiction and non-fiction categories. Sponsored by the Australian Arab Cultural Forum, this competition is open to English and Arabic-speaking communities for all age groups between 12 and 18.

The competition aims to discover new literary voices, encourage creativity, and foster an intellectual exchange between the Arab community and other communities in Australia. Students could choose a topic of interest and write a story or poem about it.

We are proud to announce that three of our students reached the finals and won awards.

This marks the second time in two years that our school has achieved such an outstanding result.

Please join me in congratulating our students on this impressive accomplishment:

  • Lucy Nguyen, Year 8

  • Mikhael Warda, Year 8

  • Sadeer Al-Zuhairi, Year 11
