Advent

Last weekend marked the beginning of the Season of Advent, a time when Christians prepare for the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Father John encourages as many students and their families to come along to Mass each week and especially during the Christmas services to celebrate this wonderful event. Remember our students will be involved in the 5:30pm Christmas Eve Mass as they re-enact the birth of our Saviour
"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14
Pope Francis Students and OLSS Parish Community Christmas
Last week our Year 6 students hosted a Parish Community Christmas get together. This was an enormous success where students were able to reach out and connect with our greater community, sharing laughter, love and friendship in the lead up to the holidays. The students really valued this opportunity and were living out the gospel values as a community.
