Persuasive Writing to Santa

We wrote letters to Santa. It was pervasive writing. Persuasive writing is telling a person something and giving them three reasons. We got a letter back and a little hanging ornament for the tree.

Year 6 Graduation

On Tuesday we held a ceremony for our Year 6 Graduation. It was a really special evening, reflecting back on all that they have contributed to the school, and all the growing and learning they’ve done in their seven years at NPS. They were all so incredibly articulate as they shared their thoughtful reflections about their learning journey so far. I am incredibly proud of this group of young people.

Reflections on 2024

This morning the 4-5-6 class sat together and watched the Year 6 Graduation videos. Looking at everyone together, it’s really lovely to see how far they’ve all come – as individuals and as a group.

It’s been so wonderful to get to know them all better this year. Thank you to all the families for your support with the work we are doing at school.

We are really going to miss all the classmates who are moving on this year, including Matilda, Bea, Willem and Jimmy. And of course, our amazing Year 6s – Indi, Sophie, Charlie, Alice, Henry, Sabine, Quinn and Audrey.
