Creating Futures Together
Recently our Year 8 Rise Mandarin students took part in an exciting excursion to a nearby Chinese restaurant. This outing was a fantastic opportunity for students to bring their language learning to life by reading Chinese menus and ordering food and drinks in Mandarin.
Beyond practicing their language skills, students embraced the cultural experience by using chopsticks and learning about Chinese dining etiquette. They deepened their understanding of Chinese cuisine and enjoyed tasting authentic dishes.
The excursion was not only educational but also a lot of fun, as students bonded over delicious meals while applying what they’ve learned in the classroom to the real world. A big thank you to our teachers and the restaurant staff for making this memorable experience possible!
