Commencement Address

The 2025 Commencement Address was presented by Mr Kevin Parkyn. Kevin graduated from Huntingtower in 1987 and is the proud father of two Huntingtower students—Larissa, who graduated in 2021, and Patrick, who is currently in Year 11. As Victoria’s Emergency Services Meteorologist, Kevin has spent over 30 years with the Bureau of Meteorology. Many of you may have seen him on TV or heard him on the radio, providing expert insights on severe weather and fire events—issues that impact us all.

2024 Dux

At this years Commencement Assembly we also congratulated our Huntingtower Dux, Sanula Pathiranage (Class of 2024) who achieved an ATAR score of 99.8.

Sanula receieved a Perfect Study Score (50) in Business Management and studied Chemistry, English, French, Maths Methods and Specialist Maths. Sanula has chosen to study Medicine at Monash University in 2025.
