Principal Team Message

Happy end of the school year BRPS Community,

We are at the conclusion of another fantastic year at Black Rock Primary School, we want to take a moment to reflect on the achievements, milestones, and wonderful memories that have made 2024 so special.

This year has been filled with exciting learning experiences, heartwarming moments, and an incredible sense of community. From the remarkable performances and speeches at our Year Six graduation to the Foundation students fare welling their  presented buddies, our students have demonstrated resilience, creativity, and a passion for learning that inspires us all. Sporting events, including our Olympics Day brought us together in the spirit of teamwork and determination, while our classroom activities have nurtured curiosity and growth.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our incredible staff, parents, and volunteers. Your unwavering support has helped to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where our students can thrive.

A very special thank you must go to our Acting Principal, Nicola Smith. Nicola’s leadership this semester has been incredibly supportive. With her vision and commitment and enthusiasm she has guided our school through two terms of progress and success. Nicola’s ability to bring people together and her genuine care for the wellbeing of every student  has left a lasting impression on all of us. Thank you, Nicola, for your outstanding contribution to Black Rock Primary.

As we look forward to 2025, we carry with us the lessons and achievements of this year. Together, we will continue to nurture a community that values learning and collaboration.
