Time Capsule: At the end of Jacana's 10th year of operation, a number of school artifacts were collected. These included all the previous Year Books, Student and staff photos from 2013 and 2023, pieces of work from 2023 students "What I like about my class / school"; 10th Birthday T shirt, Jacanarama T Shirts, 2023 School Production program, Mary Poppins School Production, Photo of "Benson" our previous therapy dog and the School Building Master Plan from 2022.
After some technical difficulties we were finally able to seal the time capsule, replace all air with Argon gas, and, with the help of some students the Time Capsule has been put in the ground near the front of the Yaluk building. The time capsule will be ready for digging up the next milestone event - possibly the 20th Birthday Celebrations.
