Amelia Frantz  -  Middle Sub School Leader

Welcome to Term 1, 2025. To introduce myself, I am Amelia. I have been a classroom teacher at Jacana School for Autism since 2022 and have worked across all three sub schools.  I am now the Middle Sub School Leader. I am really looking forward to working with the middle students, staff and families and carers.

Middle Sub School Students have had an enjoyable start to the year. Focuses of weeks 1 and 2 have included getting to know each other and building routines.  Students have enjoyed a variety of activities including literacy and numeracy games and activities, kitchen garden, PE, Music and Science.  Canine comprehension has also begun.

Student Support Group meetings (SSGS) run Monday-Thursday during Weeks 3-5. They will begin on Monday, February 10 and finish on Thursday February 27. Please communicate your preferred time with the classroom teacher.

Feel free to reach out to me at anytime. Looking forward to a great year,

Amelia

Room 10

Room 10 have had a great start to the year getting to know each other and playing outside when it has not been scorching hot! We have been aiming high and reaching hard targets in PE with John, chasing bubbles in Playground 2 and doing some great art. Rahel, Jo-Ann and Chris are excited for  the wonderful learning journey that we will be on this year with such energised and fun students.
