Year 11 VCE OES Avon River Walk
On the 30th and 31st of October, the Year 11 Outdoor and Environmental Studies class completed an overnight bushwalk along the Avon River, travelling from Bulldog Junction to Huggett’s Crossing and continuing to Dermody’s Campground the following day. Students planned all aspects of the trip in class, including the route, transport arrangements, risk assessment, and menu preparation. Throughout the experience, they worked collaboratively to support one another, assisting on steep sections and sharing responsibility for carrying group equipment.
