P.E.

As we come to the end of a wonderful year in Physical Education, we want to take a moment to acknowledge how proud we are of all our students. It has been a fantastic year of learning, growing, and staying active together.

Throughout 2025, students have consistently demonstrated our school values—being kind to myself, kind to others and kind to the environment. Whether working as a team, trying something new, or supporting their classmates, these values have been visible in every lesson.

Students participated in a wide variety of sports and outdoor activities this year, exploring new spaces around the school and developing their confidence and skills along the way. We have loved seeing students challenge themselves, work collaboratively and show enthusiasm in every lesson.

We could not be prouder of the effort, energy and achievements of every student. Their positive attitudes and willingness to grow have made this year truly enjoyable for all of us.

We look forward to seeing our students again next year for another fantastic year of PE. Until then, we hope everyone enjoys a safe, active and relaxing holiday break.

Warm regards, Matt, Sean and Sheryn

HIGHLIGHT OF THE TERM

This term in PE, students had the opportunity to explore a wide range of sports and activities, including golf, bowling, and tennis. They also enjoyed participating in a variety of fun party games that encouraged teamwork and friendly competition. Throughout each activity, students developed new skills, built confidence, and discovered sports they may not have tried before. It was an energetic and rewarding term filled with learning, movement, and lots of fun!

               OUR TERM IN PICTURES

We are thrilled to share that a set of brand-new bikes have arrived in preparation for next year’s Bike Education program. A few lucky students have already had the chance to test them out, and their enthusiasm has been fantastic to see! These bikes will play a key role in helping students build confidence, develop road-safety skills, and enjoy active learning outdoors.

We’re looking forward to launching our Bike Ed program next year and can’t wait to see our students riding, learning, and having fun.

This term, students had the opportunity to enjoy a range of golf games designed to introduce them to key skills in a fun and engaging way. They explored the fundamentals of putting and practised chipping the ball from a tee, developing control, accuracy, and confidence with each attempt. Many students even managed to score a hole-in-one, which was met with plenty of excitement and celebration! It was a fantastic experience for all involved.

We were lucky enough to welcome in some wonderful coaches in 2025 to help our students learn lots of new skills. We welcomed Olympian Darshia who was fantastic at helping us learn techniques in athletics. We also had coaches join us for badminton and rugby to name a couple. We look forward to more coaches joining us for programs in 2026.

Students from across the school had the chance to enjoy a fun bowling activity in the gym during PE class. There was lots of excitement as students practiced their aim and learned new skills.

Teachers showed students the basics of bowling—how to line up their shot, roll the ball, and follow simple lane rules. Everyone joined in with great effort and teamwork, taking turns and cheering each other on.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Next year is full of exciting activities with planning already underway. As mentioned bike riding will feature heavily, whilst we will also have events around the Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. We will also have the regular swimming and gymnastics programs for some of our learning places.

Plus, we will see the first instalment of the Endeavour Hills Specialist School House Sports. Each student will have a colour and represent their house in different events. We are excited for this and more details on all the events will come early in 2026.
