Principal's Message

Dear Endeavour Hills Specialist School community members,
As we reach the end of another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on all we've achieved together. Each year brings its own challenges and triumphs, and this one has been no exception—but through it all, our students have continued to shine.
Celebrating Student Growth
Whether in the classroom, playground or home and through acts of kindness, our students have demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and growth. Their achievements—both big and small—are a testament to their hard work and the support of their families and teachers.
A Thank You to Our Staff
I am continuously inspired by the dedication of our teaching and support staff. Their commitment to creating engaging, inclusive, and safe learning environments ensures that every child is given opportunities to thrive. I thank them for their professionalism, creativity, and care throughout the year.
Farewell & Congratulations
We extend our warmest congratulations to our two students, Diego and Avneel, who are moving on to the next chapter of their education. We celebrated this important milestone with family and staff on Friday 5th December. We are proud of your accomplishments and confident you will carry your strengths forward. To the families leaving our school this year, we thank you for being part of our community and wish you all the best.
We also send our best wishes to staff members who are moving on to new opportunities. Their contributions have left a lasting impact.
The year in review
We have celebrated many wonderful events and milestones this year. In term one we received our first (of many) portables. In May we were the fortunate recipients of a Variety Children’s Charity 12 seat bus. We thank Variety the Children’s charity and WM Waste management for their generosity. After months of negotiations with Casey Council we were very excited to finally receive a school crossing on Amalfi Drive at the beginning of term three. Parents and students are welcomed and farewelled safely by Daryl, our crossing supervisor. Our foundation students celebrated 100 days of school on July 30th with lots of fun activities and a dress up day. On Friday 5th December we celebrated our first ever graduation for our two senior students. Thank you to the graduation committee who transformed our staff room into a beautiful celebration space.
Looking Ahead
Our planning for the year ahead is almost complete, with exciting programs, upgraded facilities including three new portable buildings, and new learning opportunities in development. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another successful year.
With the arrival of the new portables, we made the decision to increase the learning places to six. After consultation and voting with staff, the new learning place is named Wattle and will be led by Eda in 2026. Wattle will be a middle primary learning place.

Wishing You a Safe & Restful Break
I hope the summer holidays bring time for rest, connection, and joy with family and friends. Thank you once again for your continued support throughout the year. We look forward to seeing our students on Thursday 29th January 2026.
Warmly,
Karen Hunt
