Middle School

Learners extended their investigation into human body systems, focusing on the functions of key organs including the skin, heart, lungs, and kidneys. They also examined the skeletal system and nutrients such as calcium. As part of their literacy work, students wrote persuasive paragraphs arguing which layer of the human body is most essential for maintaining health.

In numeracy, we are continuing to learn Multiplication and Division strategies

Junior Science

This term Foundation students have been learning about the weather and seasons. Today students learned about shade - how it is created, why it is important and where to find it in our school during Summer. Students created incredible posters to display around the school to keep everyone safe on hot days like.

Senior School Science

Senior students have been investigating the Solar System this term. Each student selected a specific aspect of the solar system  and began creating either a diorama, papier mache model, or poster to represent their chosen focus. They also completed a structured fact file to support their research and presentation.

Work is well underway!

Completed projects will be displayed around the school. Keep an eye out for their impressive results!

Visual Art

Students created imaginative name monsters using mixed-media techniques. They began by folding and cutting their name from A3 paper, then mounted it on a background and added detail using line-work and smudged oil pastels. Some students extended their designs with 3D elements using folded coloured paper.

Finished artworks will be shared in class and displayed. A student who demonstrates our school values will receive two tokens.
