Upcoming Fundraising Fun - Get Involved!
As we head into the second half of Term 2, we’re excited to share a few fantastic events that bring our community together while supporting our school. These are wonderful opportunities to have fun, connect, and contribute!
Silly Socks - Coming Soon!
Get ready to pull up your silliest socks and step into some fun! We’re teaming up with Sockable Fundraising for a colourful and quirky event that’s sure to bring smiles to students, families, and staff alike. You’ll be able to purchase a range of fun and funky socks—with a portion of every sale going straight back to our P&C to support school initiatives. It’s an easy way to give back while adding some personality to your feet! Stay tuned—more details on how to get involved will be coming home soon.
McDonald's Family Fun Night
Take a break from cooking and join us for McDonald's Family Fun Night on Wednesday 2nd July, from 6 – 7pm at Cameron Park McDonald's. It’s a great excuse to enjoy dinner out with friends and family while raising funds for our school—win-win! A portion of sales during the event will be donated back to our P&C, so the more the merrier.
Welcoming New Families - Kindergarten Expo
On Thursday 29th May, the P&C was proud to host a stall at the Kindergarten Expo, where we had the chance to meet and connect with many of our new and prospective families. It was a lovely afternoon filled with warm welcomes, helpful conversations, and of course, a few friendly smiles! We shared information about the canteen, explained how the P&C supports the school, and highlighted the many ways parents and carers can get involved. We're always here to help new families feel at home and stay connected.
We can’t wait to see everyone getting involved in the weeks ahead. Whether it’s rocking your silliest socks, enjoying a burger with friends, or stopping by for a chat—we’re all in this together.
Thank You!
We’d also like to extend a big thank you to the school staff and executive team for the valuable insights shared at our recent general meetings. Updates on initiatives like SRC and HPGE, as well as discussions around the school homework and attendance policy, have been incredibly helpful in keeping our community informed. We truly appreciate the time taken to connect with us and clarify school procedures and policies—it makes a real difference in how we can support our students and school. Thank you for being part of our vibrant school community!
Warm regards, Kendal Merchant EPS P&C Secretary
Upcoming Meeting
You're warmly invited to join us for our next P&C (Parents and Citizens) meeting on Monday, 16th June at 6:00pm in the EPS Library.
This is a great opportunity to stay informed about school initiatives, share your ideas, and help shape the direction of our school community. By attending, you can connect with other families, support student programs, and contribute to decisions that make EPS a better place for all. We look forward to seeing you there!
