Grade 5 and 6: Creating graffiti skateboard decks, drawing inspiration from a range of street artists.

ITALIAN

This term we are learning about Italian food and it will be a lot more than pizza, pasta and gelati! Revision of greetings and everyday useful phrases will also take place.

We will look at various festivals throughout Italian regions and the delicious, interesting foods associated with those regions.

Role play activities of ordering food in a restaurant or cafe will be practised culminating in fun times on Italian Day which will be Week 9 - Thursday November 30th. Children will use their Italian useful phrases to speak with others and look at each other’s Italian posters. Bilingual books made by the students will also be shared.

It’s proposed that on this day everyone will wear something red, white and green.

There will lots of other activities and also some delicious treats.

Stay tuned!

Cordiali Saluti,

Signorina Elisa
