IB Theatre - Year 12 Solo Theatre Performances
Wednesday 13 September
We warmly invite all members of our school community to an evening of culminating performances presented by Year 12 IB Diploma Theatre students. Their last Higher Level project is a Solo Theatre Piece. Students must select a theatre practitioner whose approach to theatre making interests them and from their research create their own original performance based on key aspects of that practitioner’s work. Solo performers this year are Abbie Genders, Archie Ballard, Poppy Leach, Lucia Poljansek, Noah Everett, Yota Nakadoi and Hannah Hookway.
The performances will be followed by Q & A sessions as students are required to gain feedback from their audience as to the impact of their theatre piece. This evening of theatre is highly recommended for all senior students, in particular, High School students who have selected or are considering the IB Diploma for Years 11 and 12.
When: Wednesday 13 September, 6.30 - 8.30pm
Where: Bill & Marjorie Oats Theatre, Commercial Road Campus
Entry: Free, doors will open at 6.20pm.

Chemistry Excursion to Nyrstar
Wednesday 13 & Thursday 14 September
TCE Chemistry classes will visit Nyrstar (Risdon site) to complement their unit of work - electrolysis.
Class A will be attending on Wednesday, September 13th, 8.30 - 11am
Class B will be attending on Thursday, September 14th, 10.45am - 1.15pm
All students are required to wear suitable free dress; this should include fully enclosed shoes, long sleeves and long trousers, for OH&S requirements.

Co-Curricular Photo Day
Tuesday 12 September
On Tuesday 12 September, our annual Co-Curricular Photo Day is being held in The Farrall Centre. Students who are involved in a co-curricular photo have been sent an email from the Group Coordinator.
Please ensure you have the correct uniform for each photo you are in;
- Sports photos: Full sports uniform (track pants or shorts, polo t-shirt)
- Music or formal photos (Student Council etc): Years 7 - 12 students need full formal uniform including tie, blazer, black school shoes, grey pants or skirt
- Year 3 - 4 students: Sports uniform
- Year 5 - 6 students: Formal uniform with the shell jacket

Leavers’ Dinner
Friday 22 September
A reminder RSVPs for the Year 12 Leavers’ Dinner are due by 4pm Friday 8 September. There will be no extensions beyond this time.
Year 12 Leavers have received their invitations to this year’s Leavers’ Dinner, to be held on the 22nd of September. This is a significant event for the Clemes leaving students and staff, and a highlight of the year for many.
Family photos will be available prior to the dinner in the Clemes foyer. Further details are available via the Operoo form.
A reminder that all students are required to stay at the event until the finish time, 10.00pm.

Spring Celebration
Tuesday 12 September | 6pm - 7pm
We welcome you to join us for a concert at The Farrall Centre, celebrating Years 7-12 Friends' Musicians. This concert will include performances by Years 7-12 Choirs, Guitar Ensemble and Friends' Camerata. Please join us for a fantastic evening of music - no tickets necessary.
