Busy times in 1/2GR

We started our new topic for Inquiry yesterday in 1/2GR. Our topic for this term is History, yesterday we had a look at a PowerPoint that Mrs Greenland made where we guessed what the items were. We then worked hard on sorting some olden day toys and new toys into our Inquiry books.

Mrs Carr visited the 1/2’s and shared so much about her pilgrimage journey. We loved listening to her stories! 

In 1/2GR last term we created our own whale and now we are using them to create a story of adventure! We wrote so much and worked so hard on starting our stories!

A little bean update to welcome us back to term Four.  We were so excited to see how much the beans that stayed in our classroom over our holidays had grown!

In Respectful Relationships, we have been playing rock, paper, scissors and discussing positive coping strategies when we feel different emotions from winning and losing.

With all the bee activity outside, we have been learning about the importance role bees play in our lives and how important it is to protect these insects. 

We created Whale art as inspiration for our this weeks writing task 'The Whale Tale'. Students are looking forward to writing a creative story about their whale!

In 3/4 V, we have been working on our goals for the term.
