Summer Uniform Expectations

This is a reminder that the full summer uniform will be worn in Term 4. During the holidays we encourage families to attend to uniform matters.

Expectations:

  • The Junior Jacket and Senior Blazer remain the formal outer wear garment (not the jumper). The Junior Jacket and Senior Blazer are also required for College assemblies, Chapel, excursions and formal events.
  • Shoes must be black leather lace up school shoes and not black leather sneakers (for example, Nike Air Force 1s are not acceptable). As previously advised, this will be enforced from Term 4.
  • Guidelines and expectations about jewelry, nails, shaving and hair remain the same and can be accessed in the Canvas Student Lounge or in the Family Handbook.
  • The school cap or bucket hat must be worn whenever the student is outside, including recess, lunchtime and PE lessons.
  • The school dress must be hemmed on or below the knee and not above the knee. Since the changeover of uniforms, we have noticed that the length of many of the dresses are significantly shorter than this requirement. We request that the length be attended to as a matter of priority.
  • The PE uniform must only be worn on the day the student has a practical PE lesson. The PE uniform is to be worn with appropriate sports shoes, not canvas casual streetwear shoes.

Students will receive Reminders for not respecting uniform expectations. Parents can expect contact from Care Group Teachers and Year Level Leaders as we form a partnership to support students to wear their uniform with pride and meet expectations.

Questions or concerns can be directed to your child’s Care Group Teacher.

We thank you for your support.
