Congratulations to Spring Concert Performers

On Thursday evening, more than 350 students performed music from the stage and screen for two sold-out audiences of appreciative family and friends at the 2023 Spring Concerts. From Star Wars to the Wild West and from Sesame Street to The Avengers, the bands, orchestras and vocal groups performed at a high level and combined to present a grand finale from The Greatest Showman at the end of Concert 2.

Congratulations to all students who performed on the night, and thank you to the EDSC Parents and Friends Association who provided dinner between the concerts.

The Spring Concerts were also the final large Music events for Mrs Marchant who, in addition to being the Year 7 Transition Coordinator, has been a lynchpin of the Music program as a Classroom Music teacher and vocal group director. The Music students and staff spoke about Tina Marchant’s massive contribution to Music at EDSC, and many EDSC alumni were able to come on the night to help celebrate her 20+ years at the school.

Sponsor a Seat in the PAC

We are inviting you to be a part of our Performing Arts Centre as a Seat Sponsor.

With your gift of $300 (Premium Seat in the front section of the theatre)  or $250 (General Seating) each, you can play your part in continuing to upgrade and create a state-of-the-art facility for use by our students, as well as the wider community.

A plaque will be placed on the back of each seat you sponsor.
