Term 3 Reflections - Year 8

This term I have learned that this year is going to be the referendum and it is about how Aboriginal people can have a voice. - Jamelia

This term I have learned how to do algebra in math. I never understood what the numbers meant and how to do equations. But now I have learnt the basics of it and hopefully I will get better.  - Munyari

The best thing about living in the boarding house has been getting to know some of the older girls and spending time with the staff. - Jacquisha

Something I am looking forward to next term is having our Gala dinner, Year 8 Graduation and going back to St Leonard's.  - Hoanna

Something I am looking forward to next term is going to Canberra and going to school at the MCG for a few weeks. - Ryan

A highlight of this term was Templestowe College coming in teaching us music, especially keyboard. It really sounded nice, and the kids were really nice. - Desmond 

A highlight of this term was the R U OK day with the Year 7's because we smashed the teachers in dodgeball. - Jack

Something I am looking forward to next term is graduation and more visits to Trinity Grammar because I'm keen on going there next year. - Dwayne

This term I am proud of doing art and clay making and playing sports with the year 7's and getting to know them more. I have learned to be a good role model for the younger boys and girls at Lockington.  - Angel
