Campaspe Division Athletics

Years 4-6

It was a great day out in Bendigo on 11th September, with the Years 4-6 students who qualified for Campaspe Division athletics following on from the Waranga Sports at P-12 in August.  Many students received ribbons for their events which is such an amazing effort. Well done to those who are going back to Bendigo in Term 4 for Regional Athletics!

Years 7-12 

Our squad of 40 students ventured to Shepparton to take part in the Campaspe athletics carnival on Monday 11th September. A beautiful sunny day greeted us as we arrived and there was a great sense of anticipation in the air. A number of students were competing in multiple events on the day. Our students supported and encouraged each other brilliantly with plenty lining the running track to cheer each other on or trekking over to the pits and cages to see how our throwers and jumpers were faring. 

We had a number of students who have qualified for the next round of competition in Bendigo next term. We also had four students who took out the age championship medal for their respective age groups. Well done to Immogen, Grace, Cyhril and James, who are pictured in our banner photo above, on these achievements. 

As a College, we placed 3rd overall on the revised handicap total with our junior students coming in 1st place. 

Well done to all of the students who put their hand up to compete. It was fantastic watching you all representing our College to the best of your ability.
