Good afternoon families,
This Monday is Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Australia since the end of the First World War to honour armed forces members who have died in the line of duty. Remembrance Day is observed on 11 November to recall the end of First World War hostilities. Hostilities ended "at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month" of 1918. Our 2 school captains will represent St Louis' at the Longbeach RSL Remembrance day in Chelsea. The whole school will have a Remembrance day.
All our Year 4 students went to camp last week at Mill Valley. It sounded like they had a wonderful time and really enjoyed all the activities, especially the horse riding. Thank you to the teachers and staff that attended camp, we couldn't do it without you.
