School Wide Positive Behaviour Supp

We have been working hard on the college values and expected behaviours this term as a whole school. Our focus has been on “being responsible” in Term 4.

Our expected behaviours for being responsible are:

  • Seek consent
  • Stay within your own personal space
  • Look after school and personal property
  • Clean up after yourself

Every student who displayed these expected behaviours around our school received a green star sticker for our SWPBS rewards board outside. The students had voted to work for a lolly buffet this term and achieved their goal at the end of week 8. What an amazing achievement this was!!!! Everyone enjoyed coming up to the SWPBS board to fill up their lolly cup with treats of their choice. We will be working towards more whole school term rewards in 2025.

We have also continued to reward student’s weekly for displaying the expected behaviours for the term with a milkshake club voucher for “be responsible”. The village people milkshake song plays at 2pm every Friday and the students come rushing into the staffroom with their milkshake vouchers and “be responsible” certificates. It is a weekly highlight for both students and staff alike. Milkshake Club will continue in 2025.

We are super proud of all the staff and students at PSC for their focus and efforts to achieve great outcomes in Schoolwide Positive Behaviour throughout this year!! Have a wonderful holiday break and see you in 2025.

Lisa and the SWPBS committee.
