Eco-sales at the Fete

The Eco Warriors' had a stall at the 2024 Fete, and it was a huge achievement for us. The stall for the fete sold reused paper and coasters, along with the Year 3 who sold Shrinkies at the same stall.

We made the paper by ripping up recycled paper into small pieces, putting it in a bucket and mixing it with water. We then mushed it into a pasty substance and spread it on a board lined with fabric. Lastly, we left them to dry, cut them up, tied string on them and bundled them into gift tags. This was a very successful process and we ended up almost selling out.

The second thing we sold was coasters made of old clothes.

We loved seeing people smile at what we had created from waste products. Everybody seemed to enjoy what we had made and thought they were very useful products.

We are now in the process of refining our ideas and making our products more sustainable.
