Kids Corner

The “Kids’ Corner” section of our school newsletter provides the opportunity for the children to showcase their talents or communicate something special. This fortnight I am extremely proud to share Shanaya’s and Jayrene’s (both in Year 3) narrative writing. 

Heroes in Space by Jayrene. 

Boom! Crash! Bam! There was chaos in M-City, as the heroes were defeating aliens in outer space. They just needed to press a button to go home, but the aliens pressed the button to go to the moon! Then they were in the flying saucer and some of the heroes were controlling the saucer as some of the others were fighting the aliens. 

When they landed more aliens, and the Big Boss Alien came to attack! So the heroes started fighting even harder – boom, bam, slam! They just had to defeat the alien boss and they would scram! All of a sudden, they defeated the aliens and flew back to Earth and they were the heroes of the moon and Earth.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Suddenly Zara and Kate disappeared from Littletown! 

“Where are Kate and Zara, I miss them!” said Gwen and Cat Girl. 

So they searched all over town but still couldn’t find them. 

“What a waste of time!” complained Gwen.

“I know right?” replied Cat Girl.

They kept looking and came across the teleportation box, all of a sudden it exploded! 

“Oh, no ……. Where are we going?”
