Kalinda Carols

Our Kalinda Carols Night is coming up very soon, on Wednesday 11th December.  This is a great fun, family event where every student (and lots of the staff!) will be up on stage singing and celebrating the end of another fantastic year at Kalinda.

Families are invited to come along and join in the fun. The performances will start at 5pm, but the BBQ and food trucks will be serving yummy treats and meals from 3:45.

Please note that students must be supervised by a responsible adult from 3:45 onwards. ( They cannot remain afterschool without a parent )

Families are welcome to bring a picnic blanket, cushions or short chairs, and join us on the basketball courts. (No tall chairs or umbrellas)

Please note that this is a dog free ( unless registered service ), alcohol-free, smoke and vape free, family friendly event. Please help this be a pleasant event for all.

During the event bikes, scooters etc must not be ridden on the school grounds.

To help us all get into the Christmas spirit students are invited to wear their favourite Christmas outfits to school on Wednesday 11th December. Please remember that our sunsmart policy still applies.

This means that students will need to wear their sunsmart hats at recess and lunchtime, and must have outfits with covered shoulders

Students must also wear closed-toed shoes throughout the school day.

Are your details up to date?

As mentioned on the School Bonus Page, student enrolment form details have been emailed to all families to ensure all details are current and correct. If the details are current and correct, families do not need to do anything with the email. If there is an error, or item that needs to be updated or changed, you can email the changes, or print and write the changes in, and return them to the office this way. This will ensure details are correct in the case of emergency and for School bonus emails. Thank you for your assistance with this.

Another thing we recommend is to save the school phone number and mobile in your contacts. This way, if we ever need to contact you, you can see that we have called, and it's not just a random phone number.

Kalinda Primary School's main number is 9876 3289

Kalinda Primary School's mobile is 0429 871 758 (this number is only monitored in the event of a phone outage or excursions/camps).

You can also save the email address to ensure emails do not enter your junk folder -

kalinda.ps@education.vic.gov.au

You can email teachers directly through Compass, under your child's profile.

Payment plans and different payment options

Do you ever find that Compass doesn’t cater for the payment option that would suit your family?  If this is the case, please get in touch with us and let us know via a confidential email to kalinda.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

There are lots of different payment options available, but Compass limits us to offering one option to all families.  If paying for an event over several weeks, or in smaller payments, suits your circumstances better, we are happy to make this available to you.

For further information please feel free to contact the office on 9876 3289, or by email to kalinda.ps@education.vic.gov.au asking to speak to Jen or Melissa in Finance. All finance and administration matters are strictly confidential, and we are happy to help in any way we can.
