Grade 5/6 News

A huge THANK YOU to all of the parents who helped us with our ratios for the swimming program. We appreciate your support.

There is lots happening in our school and our Grade 5/6 area as we head towards the end of the year. 

Christmas song practise, Grade 6 Dance practise, transition sessions, Kanga 8’s Cricket, Caritas Leadership Day and the Advent Mass are just some of our recent events happening for children in our area.

Whilst all of these events are happening in our school, our learning is continuing in the classroom. 

Our students are preparing to publish their historical narratives that they have been working diligently on over the last 2 weeks. 

These narratives have been developed based on our recent learnings about historical events and migration. 

Stories of those who spent time at Bonegilla have been a source of inspiration for many of our students, as have Ahn Do and Mai Ho’s stories of migration from Vietnam to Australia.

REMINDERS: 

GRADE 6 DAY OUT: Information and permission forms were sent out to all Grade 6 families last week. Please complete the permission forms online and send money into classroom teachers for this day. 

GRADE 6 GRADUATION: This special event will be held on Tuesday the 17th of December in our school hall at 6pm - 7pm. School uniform is to be worn by our students.

GRADE 5 - 2025 GRADE 6 TOPS: Information was sent out to all Grade 5 families last week. Please attend Flynn’s of Wangaratta (63 Murphy Street) between Monday 25th of November and Friday 13th of December, to try on sizes, place your order and pay.
