Principal's message

This coming Sunday marks the beginning of a new liturgical year and the beginning of Advent.

Advent prepares us for the celebration of Christmas, the remembrance of the birth of Jesus our saviour.

It is a time of thanksgiving for the revelation of God’s huge love in Jesus.

It is also about our own rebirth.

It is a time to reflect on our relationships with God, ourselves and others as well as the rest of creation.

A time to live our lives more like Jesus.

On Friday 29th November we will celebrate our Advent Mass at 9.30am  in our hall.

We invite all families to join us celebrating the beginning of Advent.

The last few weeks of school have many exciting experiences for our children as they complete this school year and also prepare for the coming year.

On Friday 6th December the school staff have a planning day, this is a pupil free day for the children.

On Tuesday 10th December the statewide transition day takes place.

On this day our grade six children head to Galen, our new Foundation students come to school and all our children spend time in their grade levels for 2025.

Monday 16th  December at 5.30 is our Star night.

An opportunity for us to remember the Christmas story, to farewell families who are leaving our school and to give thanks for the year we have had.

Tuesday 17th December is the Grade 6 Graduation evening a time to celebrate 7 years of wonderful learning for our senior students, this will take place in our hall at 6.00pm.

Wednesday 18th December is the students last day.

Boys senior toilets.

Our senior toilets will be refurbished over the summer holidays.

Unfortunately, two of the senior boy's toilet cubicles have not lasted the distance.

The use of these two toilets have been replaced by the use of the two other toilets we have for people with special needs.

In the past these toilets were used by students temporarily in wheelchairs etc.

They are located between the boys and girl's senior toilets and junior toilets, they are clean and private.

The grades 3-6 boys will have exactly the number of toilets available to them as they do now.  In 2025, they will have the use of newly refurbished toilets.

We thank our boys for their understanding with this change.

Have a great week everyone
