Year 9 Key Information

An email was sent to all Year 9 families and students this afternoon regarding the Laptop Hire Program for 2025. For students to be issued with a laptop next year, the Laptop User Agreement form must be signed by both the student and parent/carer and returned to College Reception by Friday Week 9 (Last Day of Term 4.)

- Congratulations to all the students who received academic excellence and sports awards this week. It was wonderful to see so many of the Year 9 cohorts succeed in the classroom and the sporting field.
- Congratulations to students who have been appointed as Junior Leaders for 2025. We look forward to seeing their leadership and contributions throughout 2025.

Whole of College Key Information
- This week has been an exciting time with many celebrations of student achievements and our Graduation Mass on Wednesday. Congratulations to all students on their achievements for 2024.
- We are into our final weeks of the school year for 2024. Students are well into the assessment period, with Week 8 requiring many submissions of assignments and exams. Please get in touch with the classroom teacher should your child be absent during this assessment period to negotiate a time to meet the assessment requirements.
- In Week 9, Years 7 - 10 will participate in end-of-year community days across the week. All students are required to attend these days to enhance the development of relationships and celebration of the year. Please ensure you are informed about the year-level community day through the EdSmart slip provided.

YEAR 9 TIE CEREMONY
Wednesday, 27 November
The evening will commence with canapés. Guests will then move into the Hugh O’Brien Auditorium for the formal proceedings, which will include the presentation of senior ties, a keynote address by Trevor Farmer from Living Courageously, and dancing to conclude the night.

LAPTOP HIRE PROGRAM
Current Year 9s will join our compulsory Laptop Program in 2025. This means all students commencing Year 10 in 2025 will receive a leased laptop from the College. Payment for this device will be made through your College fees.
