YEAR 7 

Year 7 Key Information:

  • This week was a celebration as we recognised the academic and sporting achievements of many students in the College. Congratulations to all those who have excelled in various areas of school life this year. We also farewelled the Graduating Class of 2024. As we watched a video of their time at St Mary’s, we paused to reflect on the year of memories the Graduating Class of 2029 has made as Year 7s and how so many of our school traditions are carried through our years at the College. 
     
  • Our final day of school this year will see Year 7s celebrate their Pastoral Community Day at Holloway’s Beach. Following our end-of-year Liturgy at school in the morning, students will be bussed to the beach for lunch and activities and return to school at the end of the day. An EdSmart parent slip will be sent next week for this excursion, which will take place Friday, 29 November, in Week 9.

Whole of College Key Information

  • This week has been an exciting time with many celebrations of student achievements and our Graduation Mass on Wednesday. Congratulations to all students on their achievements for 2024.
     
  • We are into our final weeks of the school year for 2024. Students are well into the assessment period, with Week 8 requiring many submissions of assignments and exams. Please get in touch with the classroom teacher should your child be absent during this assessment period to negotiate a time to meet the assessment requirements. 
     
  • In Week 9, Years 7 - 10 will participate in end-of-year community days across the week. All students are required to attend these days to enhance the development of relationships and celebration of the year. Please ensure you are informed about the year-level community day through the EdSmart slip provided.
