Williamstown Campus News

We have had a fantastic start to the year at the Williamstown Campus. Our Year 7 students have settled in exceptionally well and are already demonstrating what it means to be a learner at Bayside College.
As part of their transition into secondary school, our Year 7 Coordinator, Angela North, delivered a comprehensive induction and “getting to know you” program. This included a day at Hanging Rock in partnership with Hobsons Bay Youth Services, where students participated in team-building activities, climbed the mountain, and enjoyed a BBQ together. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to build connections, develop confidence, and form positive relationships with their peers.
Our Year 8 and 9 students have also made a strong start to the year, transitioning smoothly into classes and learning routines. The majority of students arrived well prepared with the required resources and were able to engage in learning from the outset. We thank families for the support you have provided in ensuring your child was ready for the academic year.
If at any stage throughout the year you feel your child may require additional support, we encourage you to contact the school. Early communication allows us to work together to best support student learning and wellbeing.
