Wellbeing News:
Our wellbeing programs have started positively across the school this year, with a strong focus on supporting students’ social and emotional development. Small, targeted groups are currently running to help students build skills such as cooperation, communication, resilience and friendship. These sessions include engaging activities such as social skills groups, Lego-based learning and “Chill Skills” to help students develop strategies for managing emotions and building positive relationships.
In addition, classes are continuing to implement the Respectful Relationships curriculum, with a current focus on Emotional Literacy. This helps students recognise, understand and manage their emotions while developing empathy and respect for others.
It has been wonderful to see students actively participating in these programs and building the skills that help them feel safe, connected and confident at school.
A big thank you to Mrs Ramsdale for her work in this space so far this year.
