Heroes With Ability was co-founded by valued Cecil Hills community member Marco Quintao. His son, Marco Quintao Jr., was a student in our Inclusive Education Unit, making this partnership particularly meaningful for our school community.

Each week on a Monday morning, students take part in a sports workshop that focuses on functional movement and exercise. These sessions provide opportunities for students to build strength, coordination, and confidence through structured and supportive activities.

Beyond the physical benefits, the HWA program promotes teamwork, social interaction, communication skills, and overall wellbeing — all in a fun, engaging, and safe environment.

Most importantly, the program reinforces the value of inclusion. Students learn not only how to feel included, but also how to actively include and support others. We are incredibly proud of our students’ enthusiasm and growth through this inspiring program and grateful for the positive impact HWA continues to have on our Inclusive Education Unit.
