A Strong and Purposeful Start to Year 10

Year 10 has begun with energy and enthusiasm. Our students have quickly settled into the expectations of their senior pathway, demonstrating resilience, organisation, and a growing sense of responsibility. It has been particularly encouraging to see them support one another while actively participating in lessons and school events.

Students are now busy preparing for their first assessment tasks of the year and are approaching these with maturity and focus. The first assessments for the year 10 begin in week 6. Recently, they were fortunate to receive valuable guidance from our Careers team regarding work experience opportunities and future pathway planning. These conversations are an important step as students begin thinking more intentionally about their post-school options.

Please note the following important dates for Year 10:

• Parent/Teacher Evening (Years 10, 11 & 12): 9 June, 3:00pm–7:00pm (School Gymnasium)
• Year 10 Examination Block: Monday 21 September – Friday 25 September
• Year 10 Work Experience: Term 4, Week 7 (23–27 November 2026)
