One early Wednesday morning I got to school with my camp back packed, today is the day we are going on camp. All the year 7’s are going to Phillip island. I have never been to Phillip Island before so this was a whole new place. After head counting a couple times we finally got on the bus, time for a long bus ride. We've been driving for a bit now, and we’ve all just stopped for lunch. We were at this park place where there was the ocean and lots and lots of birds, after we ate lunch we got back on the bus. After this many people thought we were going to the place we were staying at but we passes, I was wondering where we were going. We ended up at this farm place. We all had lots of fun there. We finally made it to the place, we got sorted into our cabins. I was in a cabin with just Taya! How good is that. Me and Taya made our room look nice then had to go to the kitchen to put our phones in. after that we got a little but of free time. Before we had to put very warm clothes on and head out, we were going to the penguins! Everyone was so exited, we got there and walked down to there beach, the sunset there was so pretty but everyone was a but annoyed we didn’t have our phones to take photos but oh well, after a little but we saw a couple cute penguins. We watched them walk up to the sore and they were so cute. Time for dinner. Everyone sat down as none of us knew what we were eating tonight, people either got fish and chips of a burger I got fish and chips. We got back home and eventually it was time for bed. We got up and went to a maze and things that place was so fub but unfortunately me and Taya got separated, in different teams but that’s okay, after a maze and things we went and saw the koalas they were so cute, we went back home and got out phones back, everyone was doing lots of different stuff and me and Taya were down stairs in the lounge room with everyone playing video games then it was time for dinner, we all sat down and table by table got yup to get out dinner, we had a roast personally I didn’t really like it but many other people did. That night me and Taya went back to our room and talked for a long long time. We eventually fell asleep. We woke up and packed out bags and cleaned out room, unfortunately it was time to leave. We all got on the bus and headed to the biggest chocolate factory I think I have ever seen in my life, we all did activities and ate some chocolate the headed back on the bus and started heading home, that was a very fun camp, I love being around my friends.

On the days leading up to camp I was excited to spend 3 days with my friends in Philip Island. The morning of the day we were going to leave I said goodbye to my family and my mum drove me to school. At school I met up with my friends and we played basketball before we left. As the time pasted it was time to leave. We loaded up the 2 buses and took our seats. As we left, we waved to all the parents. The bus ride was fun as we all talked, played music and played games together. When we got to the camp, we all met in front of the building we were staying at. The girls went on level 3 and the boys were on level 2. We all got told our rooms. We all got to pick our beds and who will sleep at the top and bottom bunk. For day 1 and 2 we did lots of fun activities like the penguin parade, amazing things and the kola exhibit. All the food we had was great. We had lots of stuff to keep us entertained like a ping pong table and an Xbox. It was day 3 the day we leave. I didn’t want to go because I had a such a good time. We all got in our buses. But before we left, we did a quick stop at the chocolate factory since it was our 100th day of year seven. It was so fun as we played games and learnt about chocolate. We got to buy thing from the shop. Then it was time to leave. We got back in the buses and went on our way back to school. When we got to school, we, all thanked our teachers for the amazing time we had and our parents were there to greet us and take us home. And that is my experience of our wonderful year 7 camp.

Camp was 1 day away and I couldn't sleep. I was so nervous. In the morning I got my stuff then I got driven to school. When I got there my nerves went away because I saw all my friends. When I got to my friend we started to play basketball then after about 20 mins Mr Moloney called all of us n to do a roll call. After that We hoped on the bus and started to drive. I would recommend wearing pants and bringing your phone for the bus. On the bus it was very noisy because everyone was screaming. When we got to Phillip Island we couldn't check in until 2:00 so we went to the pelicans. When we left the pelicans we went to farm for like 3 hrs. It was fun. When we left we were so excited to find our cabins when we got there I found out my cabin roommates. We got this card and if we lost it we would have to pay $5 if we lost it. The card was used to open the door. In the cabin there was an X-box and the only game on it was FIFA. It was very fun. Later that night we went to the penguins and it was very cold, after that we had dinner there the food was very nice. The next day we went to Amazing things and went into the maze and I was lost for a solid 30 mins. When I found my way out we went into the place and went to see the optical illusions room. And I went down a big slide. It was very fun. After Amazing things we walked across the road and went into the Koalas and it was pretty good. We went home and chilled out for the rest of the day. I went to sleep excited to come back home. The next
day we left their cabins and went to the chocolate factory and brought things. After that we went to a park and ate lunch. We hopped back on the bus after and we drove home. When we got home I was so excited to see my family. When I got home I was so excited. Although some times were boring it was a fun experience. Hope whoever reads this has the same time that I had.

On the days leading up to camp I was feeling so nervous and exited for what was to come. When it was the day I got driven to school then the sight of my friends had soothed my nerves. Finally we were in line to get on the bus we out our bags at the bottom of the bus and took our seat. It was long drive but after a while we had a break at a park and watched some pelicans then we had to go to the farm and saw some animals. After we got to our cabins we had some food then went to see some penguins. After the day had finished we then went to do some other stuff then the second last day we went to amazing things and there were all types of crazy stuff like a gravity room a mirror maze and a huge maze where you had to find all the flags then we had some food then did some mini golf and went to see koalas at the koala reserve. Then we had some roast and slept. On the last day we packed our stuff went to a park then ate a bit then put our stuff in the bus. After a while we went to another park and played and ate. On the days leading up to camp, I was packing my bag and there was a long list I had packed everything 2 things that you need to bring are some lollies if you are going to bring lollies you will thank yourself and also bring some long pants you will need them for when you meet the penguins at night. On the drive to Phillip Island. I recommend that you get your phone because it is boring very boring. Then we went to the animal park and saw some farm animals and we had someone teach us how to shear. when we got back we had some chill time and some of us played FIFA 22 in the TV room. Then we went to the penguins and we had fish and chips. To the hotel and my cabin had some lollies and I went to bed at 1 am.

I was feeling very excited leading up to camp because I could hang out with my friends. The trip was so long on the bus because it felt like it was never ending. We were finally could see the water and the bridge. We had got of just before the bridge to stop and take a break and eat something while watching the pelicans.
A while after we headed of to our hotel and dropped our bags of and went to the farm. Which we sore heaps of animal after that we came back tired, and we had some chill time at the hotel. After our chill time we went to the penguin which we sore heaps of them in groups on the way back.
After that we had dinner there which was the best and was so yum the options were burger or fish and chips which I had a burger with chips on the side.
We came back to our hotel and played table tennis and had ice cream. After that we went in our cabin who I had Jobe, Mason, Max, Thomas and Jamie we went to bed and had some lollies and stayed up late.

On the days leading up to camp I felt nervous and excited at the same time when me and my mum drove to the basketball courts I started to feel more calm and less nervous then I was before. When I approached my friends, I looked back at my mum and she smiled, I then felt confident and calm.
A good idea is to bring lollies for the trip on the bus and on the way back

Days leading up to camp I felt so excited and nervous at the same time because it would have been my first high school camp. Then the day final came before the bus arrived my friends and I were playing basketball till they called us over to talk while we were talking the bus arrived. We got into our groups and set off the Phillip Island. The bus ride to there was very intriguing with the views and more but the one thing that entertained me the most was talking with my friends. When we arrived, we got set and got to see our cabin. Our later we got ready to go see the penguin parade. After we had dinner and headed to bed.
The next day we had breakfast and went to our first activity for the day which was the koloas which was not that interesting till we swapped halfway and went to amazing things. It was so fun there. There was a drop slide mini golf sideways room and heaps more. Then we set off for dinner. We got to have our phones for a night we our time was up it was close to lights out. When it was time for bed, we ate heaps of lollies after we went to bed for a total of like 4 hours.
On the last day we had plans to go to the cholate factory for our last activity for the camp. We went in our groups for the cholate factory in 15 minutes we were in exploring all the factory it was so good. The cholate was exceptional then after we got to buy whatever we wanted. When we finished in there it was time to go home it was a 2-hour drive back it was very peaceful I even had a sleep. 2 hours later we were back at school we said thanks to the teachers and went for the rest of the day. In the end it probably wasn’t my favourite camp, but I still had a great time.

On the days leading up to camp I was really excited. I couldn’t wait to go to Phillip Island with my friends. When I got to school on the day of departure, I said bye to my parents then went straight to my friends. I went in the bus and sat with my friends ready for the days ahead. The first hour was fine but after our first stop I was getting bored. The rest of the trip was very boring but when we got to the farm I could stretch my legs. I honestly didn’t really like the farm. When we got to the place we where staying at we where eager to find out our cabins. When we found out our cabin we went into ours rooms, they where really nice. They had bunk beds, really comfy sheets and a fan. One of my favourite features was the gaming room. That night we went to the penguin parade. The food was really good and seeing the penguins was cool. The next day we went to a koala exhibit where we saw koalas in their natural habitat and not a zoo. We or so went to A Maze N things. This was my personal favourite because of the illusions, activities and puzzles. That night we had a roast, it had lamb, veggies, potatoes and bread. I thought it was a good dinner. The third day was very chill. I played with my friends and played in the gaming room as well. We got into the bus around 3 o’clock to go home. On the way home we stopped at the chocolate factory. I don’t really like chocolate but I bought some for my parents. The way home was a lot longer and boring. When we got back to school I was happy to see my family but so sad that it was all over. Overall it was a great camp that I really enjoyed

Hello, my name is Nava Mollahagahi! I’m writing to you about my experience at the 7-year camp this year! Most of the year 7s and teachers went to Phillip Island! The drive felt like 10 years, but it was only 2 hours. I spent those 2 hours just chatting and singing on the bus with my friend Mia. We played UNO on the bus, and I obviously won all rounds. Spending those 2 hours on the bus with my friend Mia was fun and noisy too, but we stopped at Churchill Island to go have lunch and visit some of the farm animals!
We saw bunnies, Guinea pigs, cows, pigs, chickens, lambs, sheep, horses, and so many more animals! Some of the Year 7s got a chance to milk a cow. After a visit to the farm, we got to the campsite and took our suitcases to our cabins. Afterwards we went to the penguin parade and saw the cute fairy penguins. Then we had dinner at a restaurant which was delicious. Some of us got burgers and chips or fish and chips. We also sang happy birthday to one of the year 7s! We headed back to our cabins and got some rest ready for day 2.
It’s now day 2 and I wake up to the sound of my friends saying happy birthday to me! I was so happy, it was finally my birthday! I get dressed for breakfast and had a big smile on my face as some year 7s wish me happy birthday. After breakfast we were split into 2 groups. My group went to see to the Koala Conservation Reserve. Whilst the other group went to A Maze N Things. The koalas were so cute, I was surprised on how many koalas we saw. Then our group went to A Maze N Things whilst the other group headed over to Koala Conservation Reserve.
A Maze N Things was so fun. There was the big slide, Mirror maze, a lot of illusions, the magician and the giant maze. Then after all the fun we had some lunch! Lunch was really good, but it was time of us to head back to our cabins! We had some free time, so My friends and I just talked and went to our friends’ cabin (with their permission obviously) Afterwards we had dinner. For dinner we had pasta and roast! The year 7s sang happy birthday to me during dinner! I even got a full-size chocolate bar and lollies snakes from Mr heading and Mr Maloney! It was time to head back to the cabins and got dressed for bed.
Day 3 started, and it was the last day of camp. I was having so much fun and it sadly must come to an end. We got dressed for the day and went to the kitchen for some breakfast. The Year 7s had to pack their suitcases and clean their cabins. We made the beds and cleaned the bathrooms. It was time to say goodbye and we hopped on the bus to the chocolate factory. Although leaving made us sad, chocolate made it better. We got to play some games and won some balls and exchange them for some chocolate! We saw how chocolate was made, and we got to design our own chocolate! Then we headed back to the bus to go back to school. As being my usual self, I just talked... and talked... and talked... and talked until I lost my voice. After 2 long hours we arrived back to the school. I’ve made so many fun memories with my friends and it has finally come to an end. I’d like to thank the teachers for trying to make this camp the best camp ever! Thank you for reading!

Charlie here, bringing you exciting information from our Year 7 camp adventure at Phillip Island! Our recent trip was a whole lot of fun, discovery, and unforgettable experiences. Here’s a snapshot of our fantastic journey.
Our first stop was a thrilling visit to the Phillip Island Nature Park, where we had the chance to see the iconic Little Penguins. As twilight approached, we gathered at the viewing area, eyes wide with anticipation. The sight of these adorable penguins waddling up the beach and calling to their mates was nothing short of magical. It was a moment of wonder.
Next, we explored the Phillip Island Wildlife Park. The students had a blast meeting Australian wildlife up close. We all got to see some Koalas in their natural habitat, and the experience was amazing.
Our final adventure took us to the quirky and intriguing world of “AMAZING Things.” This interactive attraction was a hit with the year sevens, offering a mix of mind-bending optical illusions and fun challenges. The students loved engaging with the interactive displays. It was a wonderful way to spark curiosity and creativity.
Overall, the Year 7 camp at Phillip Island was a blast! The combination of wildlife encounters, educational activities, and pure fun made it a memorable experience for all. A big thank you to everyone who made this trip possible and to our students for their enthusiasm and spirit.
Looking forward to more adventures in the future!
