Principals' Report

Dear Families,

On Tuesday this week, we held the first of two Orientation Sessions for our 2026 Prep students. It was wonderful to welcome our newest learners and their families to St Patrick’s and to see the children engaging so confidently with the activities prepared for them. My sincere thanks to our new Prep team — Mrs Spence, Miss Short and Miss Smith — for the thoughtful planning and the excellent learning experiences they created. Their professionalism and care were evident in every part of the session. Thank you also to Mrs Diakrousis and the many LSOs who supported the children so warmly and helped ensure the morning ran smoothly.

Earlier in the week, on Monday, I had the pleasure of accompanying our Year 4 students on their excursion to the Melbourne Aquarium. It was a highly engaging and educational day, and I was very proud of the curiosity and enthusiasm shown by the students as they explored the exhibits. My thanks to the Year 4 teaching team for their outstanding organisation, preparation and supervision. The excursion was exceptionally well coordinated, and the students represented St Patrick’s School with maturity, respect and a genuine eagerness to learn. It was a memorable experience for all involved.

At this stage, we are not yet using the nMeet feature. We will continue to use SOBS for bookings until further notice.
